I just bought a new R6400v2 AC1750 Smart Wifi Router, and it worked fine the first day I set it up. However the second day it suddenly stopped working. I logged into the router's IP address and it said "No Ethernet Cable Is Plugged into the Router Internet
Restart Your Modem/Router. Step 1: Unplug your Fire TV from the wall. Step 2: Unplug your modem/router from the wall and wait a full 30 seconds. Step 3: Plug the modem back in. If you have a router, plug this in after the modem is up and running again.

Replied on April 9, 2013. Report abuse. Update the driver of your ethernet connection. You can find the driver in the website of your computer's manufacturer. You can also scan your computer with RadarSync to see which drivers are outdated. That way you can cover all problems in one shot. Machines connected to the E4200 wireless router tend to get assigned DHCP addresses from the E4200 since it responds fastest, leaving them with no Internet access because the DPC3825 is the router managing your Internet connection. If my guess is right, the fix is simply to disable the DHCP server in the E4200. It could be worse. 1. Try using a different ethernet cable that isn't crossover, because if your current one is a crossover, that could be causing your problem. Most ethernet cards have a feature called Auto-MDIX which automatically detects whether or not you are using a crossover cable. While almost all new computers have Auto-MDIX, this could possibly be I have to go into IP Settings and type all of the information. After that, the TV succesfuly connects to the router but it says it cannot connect to the internet. At this point, my PC (The only thing besides the TV that is connected in LAN) can't connect to the internet all of a sudden. Re: Ethernet not working, WiFi works. 06-15-2022 09:46 AM. No. VZ rolled out the long awaited IPv6 for selective customers recently. Some devices and adapters does not work with IPv6 (despite being a standard since 1999) or did not implement it correctly without knowing until now (because nobody bothered to test it).I went in to device manager, it did not show "Ethernet" under network adapters. The Ethernet NIC is normally part of the motherboard and soldered in. If not (if separate) try re-seating it. Otherwise get a USB Ethernet Adapter and see if that works. It likely will. If not, then the motherboard might have issues. See if you can get a replacement Next connect the "wireless" node by Ethernet cable. It may (probable) stay wireless. but in my case these switched by itself to Ethernet overnight with the "Auto" setting selected earlier. Once all nodes are working in Ethernet backhaul, you can then switch back the global setting to Ethernet backhaul. Hope this helps/works for you.
Go to Menu-network- network settings, tv will show that is connected to the router but not the internet, select IP settings and only change the DNS Server numbers from auto to manual and change the numbers to 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4 then reset smart hub. This might apply to the problem I am having. I have a 60" Samsung Smart TV.
